I’m just wondering about the strength. I wear acrylic over my natural nails due to the type of work I do. I’m interested in switching over to uv gel but idk If it would hold up
I’m lookin for answers about strength. Not altenative nail polish (those Sally Hansens ‘minx’ suck and won’t provide the protection I need) or maintenance. I’m not trying to be nasty but I’m just interested in the question I asked.

I have sensitive, pale skin. I really want to be able to get a natural sun tan but I don’t know how! I don’t want to go tanning, or get a spray tan, or use tanning lotion because 1.) UV rays make you age, 2.) Spray tans last a week and are costly and make you orange, 3.) Tanning lotion turns your skin blotchy and orange around the elbows and knees! Is there anything I can use to attract sun to my skin without burning it? I have heard of vegetable oil but I’m not sure if it works. Please help me!

My russian tortoise is about 3 years old, I got him last october. Ever since I have had him, he has been doing NOTHING but burrowing into his substrate and hiding. 24/7. Literally…. I actually have to dig him out of his burrow every couple of days to feed, water, and soak him. Otherwise, he never ever comes out for anything! He’s not hibernating, because I know they don’t hibernate for 9 months in a row, especially since he’s had a heat lamp and UV bulb since the day I got him. His temps are 78 on the cool side, 85 on the warm side and 94ish directly under the spotlight. I feed him fresh greens, supplements, moist tortoise food, and stuff. Some days I put his tub outside so he gets natural warmth and sun, but still, he literally NEVER comes out. I had him checked out at the vet and she said he looks okay…

well, I put his tub outside just about every day now, but I don’t put him on grass, I live in an 11th floor apartment and there are a LOT of people always in the courtyard, and dog poop :/ That’s why I grow a little bit of grass for him (see pic)
it’s not a coil UV light, it’s a megaray mercury vapor bulb.
also, he’s a tortoise, he doesn’t need animal protein at all.
he was not wild caught, and lately he has been living outside all the time except for when it’s raining heavily, as he lives in a tub, he’d be rained out. I can’t build him an enclosure, I don’t own any land, not even a yard

First and foremost, I treat my skin exceptionally well. My diet is nearly perfect, I take all-natural supplements, and I use only the most natural products on my face (for example, pure aloe vera, honey, vitamin e, and tea leaves), with the exception to 2 drugstore products: St. Ives sensitive skin scrub and Olay’s Complete sensitive skin UV protection moisturizer. However, I STILL manage to get breakouts on my chin and forehead, probably via hormones. I’m using a honey/green tea/turmeric spot treatment overnight, it worked, but now it seems to have taken on a less potent effect on my skin. I’m just wondering if there’s any more NATURAL rememdies (I have highly sensitive skin) I could use for pimples? I usually get really hard, inflamed bumps that take FOREVER to go away, and it’s really a crush on my self-esteem!
