its the banana boat ultra defense max skin protect spray. it 110 SPF UVB. i bought it before i read any reviews and i just read a couple reviews people saying they stilled burned even after reapplying it. should i return it for a better sunscreen? does anyone know any sunscreen or sunblock that is good for adults and children. also is there a difference between sunblock and sunscreen? thanks:)

I am multiracial(1/2 white, 1/2 black/native mix) so my skin darkens easily. I prefer to keep my skin on the lighter side and I use lots of sunscreen and whitening products(soap). Most of my white and asian(east indian) friends don’t think too much of it most of my east indian friends use some type of whitening soap or cream, and I see it like tanning. There is only so light or dark one can get, so I think it is just a beauty procedure. However, a lot of black people seem to think it’s worse than killing someone. Some black people have even taken offense to it saying "you are already light, so you must think I am ugly". When I had a youtube channel some people even insulted me for reviewing whitening products. Are these people just overly-sensitive? Or do some cultures view skin whitening as offensive?

My red eared slider is about ten years old. It’s "red ears" are fading and it seems the rest of its colors are as well, not drastically of course. He (or she) seems healthy but I was wondering if there’s somthing more I should be doing to help keep him healthy. I have a uv light and a heating lamp so it’s getting good "sun". I got sunburned! Noxzema works better for a sunburn than anything else, even aloe vera! My mom has used it on me since I was little, and it always made the pain go away, reduced redness, moisturized my skin and prevented peeling!
