I’ve researched California Baby and Badger but they both seem to get mixed reviews.

Hey! Ive had a turtle for a bit over a year now. His name is Timmy and he is my first turtle. It took me a bit of time to get use to how to care for turtles but I got a hang of it after a few weeks. I have read that turtles should be fed less when they grow to be about a year old so I am trying to feed him less and was wondering if this is true? Also, my turtle seems to have white lines that are begining to show surrounding the natural design of his shell and he makes a whistling sound from his nose when he is breathing. He does not like to bask a lot and I was wondering how much of a problem this could be? I have a proper basking area for him as well as a UV light with the temperature kept at about 90degrees and the temperature of the water at about 80degrees. Does this sound like his shell is starting to rot? He has a hard shell and it does not at all seem weak.

sun cream not only protects you from getting burt but also possible risk of cancer.. anf for less syptoms you could end up with sleepless night due to servier itchiness and thats not to nice either. so wear suncream or keep your arms and back covered as much as possible. enjoye the warm/hot weather but please enjouy it the correct way and keep safe…thanks for watching.

everyone says fake tan is healthier cause of no UV radiation but it stinks and doesn’t look as nice, any ideas?..what do you thinks better?

FDA is investigating a situation in which more than 200 patients undergoing CT brain perfusion scans at a single hospital received overdoses of radiation. In some cases the radiation doses were high enough to produce erythema and hair loss. While these events involved one type of procedure at one facility, FDA is concerned that they could reflect more widespread problems with CT quality assurance programs. If patient doses from CT procedures were higher than the expected level but not high enough to produce obvious signs of radiation injury, the problem could go undetected and unreported. This could put patients at increased risk for long-term radiation effects, including certain types of cancer. To help prevent overexposures, FDA is encouraging facilities that perform CT procedures to be aware of the dose indices displayed on the control panel. These indices include the volume CT dose index, expressed “milligray” (mGy), and the dose-length product, expressed in “milligray-centimeter” (mGy-cm). Before a patient is scanned, the operator should make sure that the values displayed for these indices correspond reasonably to those normally associated with the procedure being performed. These indices should be checked again after the patient is scanned. so does algae grow quicker or slower in higher or lower Co2 levels. because i HATE the stuff and want to prevent it as much as possible. i don’t want to buy a uv sterilizer and i don’t want to buy algaecide or anything like that, i like my aquariums as natural as possible.Co2 Reactors don’t bother me.
